About us
Welcome to our cozy lakefront vacation rentals on Washington Island that have been in the family for more than twenty years. We’re excited for you to experience an island retreat, whether you are seeking a quiet getaway or a fun filled exploration. You won’t want to miss the stunning sunsets at Cascio Cottages!
We offer two cottages on the property that share a private drive:
Burgoon House: A lovely modern 2-story cottage with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom steps away from the lakefront that sleeps 6.
Norton House: A rustic and charming 1 bedroom/1 bathroom wood and stone cottage set back from the shore that sleeps 4.
General Information
During the summer season, the cottages are available only by the week, from Saturday afternoon through the following Saturday morning. During Spring and Autumn, the cottages can be rented by the night, with a 3-night minimum. Unfortunately, we do not offer single night rentals.
Pets are not allowed and the cottages are non-smoking. We provide bedspreads, mattress pads, pillows, and blankets. Guests provide their own sheets, pillowcases, and towels.
Amenities
Both cottages are on the water and have the best sunsets on the island!
Kitchens are completely equipped for cooking and eating with microwaves, coffee makers, all dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. There is a dishwasher in Burgoon.
Washing machines and dryers in each cottage.
Wood for indoor fireplaces.
Outdoor furniture for decks and charcoal grills.
Games, puzzles and many, many books - take one or leave one!
