Tranquil Retreat in Nature's Embrace

General Information:

  • Cottages are available only by the week during the summer season, from Saturday afternoon through the following Saturday morning.
  • Spring and Autumn rentals are available by the night, with a 3-night minimum.  NO single-night rentals.
  • Cottages are non-smoking.
  • Pets are not allowed.
  • Guests provide their own sheets, pillowcases, and towels. We provide bedspreads, mattress pads, pillows, and blankets.

Getting There:

  • Washington Island is accessible only by a 30-minute car or passenger ferry ride from the northern tip of Door County. 
  • The Island is about 195 miles from Milwaukee, 230 miles from Madison, 270 miles from Chicago, and 350 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

  • Kitchens are completely equipped for cooking and eating. Microwaves, coffee makers, all dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. (No foodstuffs).
  • Outdoor furniture for decks.

  • DVD players.
  • Many, many books - take one or leave one!
  • Wood for indoor fireplaces.
  • Beautifully decorated.
  • Washing machines and dryers in each cottage.
